How long have you kept the weight off?
Just wondering how many of you out there have reached your goal and maintained, and for how long? Thanks for your responses!

I haven't quite reached my goal, but I lost around 90 lbs the first year and kept that off for a year. I have now lost about 25 more lbs since the first of the year.
So - - I was banded Feb 2007 - - so 2 years and 3 months. Still losing, haven't gained it back.

September will be 4 years (I think lol) for me, since I got the band. I've maintained my 144 pound loss and am still working on the last 10 pounds but they are stubborn and refuse to move.

a lot of the successful bandsters who have kept the weight off aren't around too much these days -- they are busy, off living life!
Some that come to mind (forgive me for everyone I forget here) are: Telly Heather Neal Paul Tammy Bear Emileekay Tricia and many many others! and oodles of others -- come on people - jump on here and brag about your success! Last edited by MoOrLess; 05-05-2009 at 02:21 PM.

Hey Mo-ness. Thanks for the shout out.
I was banded in 2006 and started at 240.. and have reached as of today 121lbs and have kept the weight off...actually lost 10lbs in the past 3 weeks. I'm out living life as Mo stated but I do check in on occaision.
