Default anyone?

Has anyone on here reached max fill on there band or have gotten close? Please tell your story. Im very close to max. My doctor tells me he thinks this band is not going to work for me. I told him I paid 9, 000 dollars for this thing and we are gonna make it work or else. He is talking about down the road. I have good restriction right now and I am losing weight every week. Ive never stopped doing that. I think I was just filled way to agressively. I was losing weight at a lower fill level but food was just passing through easily. Anyway Im trying not to lose my mind about what he told me. Im not doing another surgery. Im going to just make this work hopefully.

Did the Dr have any advice? Did he suggest another surgery? Im just wondering what he thought. I had a fear of this with myself but once I got to about 6cc of my 10 cc band I seem to be doing pretty good. Well like you have said your a stuborn guy so maybe you just need to prove your Dr wrong.

hey thats just weird that ur doc would say that. seeing as how he put in the band and chose the size that would fit ur stomach. if he chose too small of a band then thats his fault and maybe if you must have a revision u wont have to pay for it? i dont know kinda talking out of my...well u know.
i have heard someone going a full cc past what their band size is. like an 11 in a 10. dont worry about it..that can make u tight...wait maybe u should worry about it and then u wont have to worry about a fill anymore cause ur stress level will keep u tight. ugh. arg. and ugh again.

Greg, did they check you in radioligy (sp) and have you do a barium swallow?? When they do that, they can see exactly how much more you can take before you have to worry about being too tight and hurting your orgins. I have pain when I eat sometimes, and my weightloss had pretty much stopped in the last three months. I am getting unfilled and refilled under floro in two weeks. This way they can see how tight the band looks on my stomach, and see exactly how quickly things are passing through. Good luck!

Ok let me see if I can answer everyones questions. Well the doctor I have now is not the doctor who put the band in. I was a self pay down in Mexico. I have 10.8 cc in an 11 cc band right now. Yes the check me with a barium swallow and floro thing every time I get the fill. Anyway the doctor I have now just told me he didnt think this band was going to work for me. Ive just decided he is going to be wrong and I am not going to stress over it right now. I have good restriction right now. actually some days I feel like it might be to much. Anyway the weight loss is still happening so I am not goig to stress about it just yet.

Thats what my wife was telling me----She said she things this other doctor just wants my money. I mean I am losing weight every week ---So how is it that this band wil not work for me? What else is it suppose to do? Open doors for me? well I will open them myself just as long as the weight loss continues.
