OK- Since studies suggest that commitments made public are more likely to be sucessful, I thought I'd start a thread to give folks a chance to make their New Year's resolutions public. Then, we could look back on this thread, perhaps update on a weekly or monthly basis how we are doing with them? Anyone game? I'll give it a start:
Phil's 2010 Resolutions: 1- Keep a daily journal of what I eat, even at night and on weekends. 2- Get the "problem" foods out of the house (and keep them out.) 3- At least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week. 4- Follow the lap band rules for protien and drinking during meals. That's enough for me- what about you? |

1 work out everyday 2write down everything in my journal 3 follow the band rules 4 stop smoking and no longer allow anyone in my house to smoke! Julia |

HI! Great thread! I want to do #3 too! And I want to eat more lean dense protein and veggies at every meal! And (God, are you listening?) it would be great if I lost another 45 pounds this year, like last year!

Yeah, That's what I'm talking about- I'd like to drop another 40 myself! and more lean protien and veggies is the way to go!

Sorry phil. Me and NY Resolution don't get along. They never listen to what I say. LOL. But...
I would like to lose another 40-50 this year. Exercise consistently. And find as close to my sweet spot as I can. Not a resolution, but a goal for sure.

I will join ya! My resolutions(goals) for this year 1.Eat slower 2.Stop thinking that I can eat like everyone else 3.Join a gym and actually take myself there 4.Drop as much weight as I can (not setting a number goal for this one) 5.Regain more of my life back...I want to finally be happy! |

Yeah, I "forgot" I was banded yesterday, ate too fast, and puked all afternoon! Yay me!
