it isn't much - BUT I have broken my plateau and am happy to say that it seems my UNFILL is paying off as my body gets used to solid protein!
I've been hanging around 233 for a while now and today I was finally at 231.5 I have lost 8.5 lbs in 14 weeks -- not 1 lb a week "yet" but I'm working at it. I can actually FEEL like my mind and stomach are one....it's been worth the struggles and ups and downs to be where I am. Today is DAY ONE of my 4th year banded. I thought I would be at a difference place with my weight, but I am NOT at 270+ lbs so that is worth celebrating!

BIG GOAL!!! If I don't make it thats ok. I just broke through a plataue and i am thinking i will start losing again. I go in for a possible fill in Sept. Maybe that will kick start me again to. PIZZA ROLLS Are a thing of the past and the thought of eating a snickers bar is nausating.!!! God did i just say that about chocolate.
Had my first real taste of PBing this morning.. Boiled egg.!!! Did you guys know if you try to keep a PB down it will come out your nose!? God that was gross and painful. |

I to have a hard time with boiled eggs, I figured it was just because it was morning and having a little more restricition in the am. Its better if I just eat the whites.

ready2succeed, I always have trouble in the morning with breakfast food. No matter what it is, if it is first thing in the morning, i get stuck...not necessarily pb, but stuck is good enough. I usually have to have a coffee before i eat, or wait a few hours before i have my main breakfast meal. introduce something soft to waken your belly up...forewarn it that food is on its way! lol
Mo..your mind and stomach are one..that is something to be really happy about. To this day, I still struggle with that. My mind always wants to eat more than what my stomach can handle...and when my band is looser on some days, i can easily get carried away, as if i haven't had a real meal in years. It is a scary thought because if I ever lose my band, I will be in deep trouble. I am known for self sabotaging myself. Mo, |
