I am so glad to hear I am not alone. I was banded 04-23-08 and lost 50 pounds the first year. Then I lost my job and hit a plateau that puzzled me. My eating habits did not change but I was working out more than ever and not losing. I finally got a job and have been there for one year but I hate it!!! I have had so much stress and I need to let it go and get back with the program. I took a $15,000 pay cut so with a job I hate and financial stress it has been hard to concentrate on myself. Lately I have been thinking that the only control I have over my situation is working on myself. I have not posted for over a year and thought maybe having some support might be the best place to start. I have lost only 10 lbs in my second year so far and with my anniversary coming up I want to try and hit a total of 80 lbs for my 2 year anniversary (another 20 llbs). I am going to start posting at least twice a week in hopes that support will keep me motivated.

Welcome back! Wonderful job on loosing the 60lbs and not gaining weight! Look at that as a positive! I always gain weight when under lots of stress.

Same situation for me - first and second years banded - but for different reasons - same result, no weight loss and stress!

Big hugs and WELCOME BACK!!! Posting and being on B2G really does help with motivation and support.
