I have another question. We have a friend, very young friend...21..who qualifies for lapband surgery or bariatic surgery...She was recently told that the meds they use to anethestitize her during surgery could be too hard on her heart. This totally deflated her and now she doesn't want to do either surgery. Is there any advice I could give her to help her back to these choices? She thinks of me as her second mom and was so interested when she saw both my husband and myself do the lapband. Thanks again.

She needs to get a second opinion and also go see a cardiologist soon!
