    Hi Everyone!!!

Well, here goes--My life in a nutshell--I'm getting divorced! Well, it's hardly a nutshell. There is so much more to all of this.

Basically, David and I have decided that we are no longer compatible as husband and wife. We continue to be the best of friends, however which is a good thing because he has just left his job to pursue his own accounting business. Since we can't afford two separate households, we are continuing to live as roommates. This arrangement has its upside and downside.

The downside is that it is hard to un-entangle ourselves emotionally when we are still living together. It's hard to go to bed in separate rooms. It's hard to deal with the "physical attraction thing" when you live so closely together. It's just plain painful to be around each other sometimes!

The upside is that, although this is extremely painful for both of us, we are each other's best avenue of support. We both know what it is like because we are both going through it at the same time. David has time to build up his business without the added stress of supporting two households. Judah, our 12 year old son, is dealing really well with all of this. I think he would be having a much harder time if we had told him we are getting divorced and dad is moving out. I think that staying under the same roof for a period of time will help mine and David's friendship to come out very in tact which is what we both want.

There is obviously a lot more going on here that I am not necessarily comfortable sharing in a public post. Some of you are aware of the situation and I would be happy to share more information in a PM. So pm feel free to PM me.

I am not concentrating much on accomplishments these days. Some days, I'm just trying to get through the day. It is getting easier though. We actually made this decision just after the b2g g2g so it has been a couple of months. I guess my one accomplishment is I have kept my weight gain to under 10 pounds (5 of those pounds are from the g2g). I have definitely been comforting myself with Kozy Shack rice pudding and that is ok with me. I have given myself a weight to stay under and so far, I am managing to do so.

Well my friends, I hope you all have a wonderful July. I actually think mine won't be horrible--(May was pretty horrible, June was pretty bad, I think July will be ok and I know some day will be good again).

That's how you do it Pattie. If you accomplish it, you met a goal. Easy cheesy.

    Thanks, Kathy!

I do love the Kozy Shack. I have made a few recipes that are supposed to taste like Kozy Shack but so far, none of them do. It's probably a good thing or I might subsist on rice pudding alone!
