my file went to insurance today. now all i have to do is wait impatiently.

I know the waiting is the hardest part.
I just got done waiting on insurance approval and now I am waiting on pre op testing and after that I will be waiting on surgery, then first fill..... and on it goes.
This doesn't sound good for someone like me who can't stand waiting, but I look back and think how fast it has gone so far. It's waiting for the watched pot to boil for sure.

I am with you on this one. I had my last weight loss visit today and my paperwork should be sent over to the insurance company sometime this week... the excitement and anticipation continue to grow..

Its been a full week and I'm still waiting impatiently! I'm so tempted to call the docs office. She told me not to call til she calls me. I'll probably call her monday just to keep her on her toes! Why does time fly when you don't want it to, and when you want it too it drags on and on and on....

I just had my b and on the 29th of September and the waiting is the hardest, but before you know it wham you are banded. Good Luck

Okay are you guys ready??!! I've been approved!! I'm so happy. I found out this afternoon. Oh man I just can't believe it!! Tomorrow I got to call the doc and get the last of the info I need! Like the surgery date! I just can't believe it! Dude the is so awesome. So hopefully I'll be joining bandland soon.

I got my date yesteday!! October 22! I can't believe it. I start my preop diet today. Did anyone else have to do the south beach diet phase 1? Instead of the liquid diet I'm on this one.

Congrats on your Oct 22 date!! I didn't do the South Beach diet, but had Optifast liquid diet for 14 days. Good luck on your journey!! :D

Okay guys here's an update, I went for my pre op today. It was easier than I thought it would be! The surgeon just went over all the details. I was amazed at how calm I was. He was very patient with me, I asked a ton of questions. (Thanks for the thread that had them all listed, it was a godsend!) But what got me the most was that I have lost 9 lbs in 9 days! And I still have five says to go. I'm so excited! And I'm scared! I'm sure this is very normal. I think its just nerves!
