1st fill on hold

I went to Dr. Cahn today for my 6 week check-up and planned on a fill. Unfortunately, he couldn't access my port! He can feel it under my skin but couldn't reach it with the needle. Didn't hurt at all even though he tried 4 or 5 times. He wants me to come back in 2 weeks and maybe with a little more weight off he can get at it better. I'd rather do that than have it done under fluro. Has anyone else had this happen?
He's thrilled with my weight loss and said if I can keep that up for another couple weeks that should help. I'm so happy with the loss also, but also am starting to get hungry between meals so I'd like to have that extra restriction.
All in all this has been a positive experience!

Our Dr. had trouble accessing 2 of my friend's ports. One gal is a lot bigger and it was a lot deeper than mine, so he had a little more trouble finding it, but did eventually. The other friend's port had flipped. But, somehow, they were able to access it and give her a fill. Under the flouro machine of course.
I think this is a lot more common than we think. Hopefully it will be easy to get to when you go back.
