Does anyone know how long bcbs covers a full time college student under their insurance in illinois???

I am turning 22 this may, and my mom just informed me that i may not be covered once i turn 22 and i wouldn't have my surgery until july/august...i am going crazy!

If anyone knows this answer please let me know, all of the offices are closed...thanks =/

Hey Girl. Calm down, don't get yourself too worked up. I have BCBS. They will cover me under my parents until I am 25yrs old as long as I am a registered student and can prove it. The day i turn 25 I am up tho, so I'll have to make sure I will be covered before that. Just give them a call tomorrow to double check, they'll prolly just make you send in a report card or sumthin. In the meantime, if you are still anxious you can go to the bcbs website and sign up to see your benefits online. I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything! ~Lexi :)
