Hi everyone,

I have had a stomach that has been growling like crazy and I am actually feeling hungry. I am being a good bandster and eating my 3 meals, drinking my water and all the other good stuff. It isn't my time of the month and I am not overly stressed. How come now, at my 6 month bandiversary, am I so hungry. The doc gave me a prescription for phentermine. Have you used it? And for how long? Did you form an addiction to it? Any insight you can share would help. Hopefully, I will hear from any of you that have used it before I jump on the drug bandwagon. Thanks.

If you are getting hungry more often that may be a sign that you need a fill. I am not too sure what you have now or if you have good restriction or not?
When in doubt, call your Dr.'s office. I call mine all the time :)

Im a little over 2 yrs post op - and Ive been using diet pills off and on since my second fill. My choice 'drug' is tenuate (gen) and I ALWAYS break it in half... a whole one gives me the jiggly feeling. I average taking this about twice/3 times a week.
I agree with Heather, try getting another fill. It may be as simple as just a little tweek of a fill that makes a BIG difference in hunger for you.

MY problem is that I have lots of restriction - but STAY hungry (tummy growlin' -N- all)!
anyway .. good luck!

You can't break the phen capsule which is a supreme bummer. I would try a fill first. If you take the phen make sure you are wide open and don't "forget" to eat with it. It can cause jitters but it will be less if you have eaten something.
