I know this is a bit off topic here, but I have been having some pretty rough lower back issues. It is a steady soreness over a pain. I am pretty sure that it is from lousy posture (slouching at my desk over the computer) and wearing high heels.

Does anyone have any good back exercises? :faint:

Pilates helps, but I am not real dilligent on it.

Thanks!

I know time helps too, When I was losing, I had back pains and my tail bone hurt when I sat. The body needs time to adjust. I dont have those issues anymore.

My tail bone still hurts when I sit. I think it is from all the extra skin that my bootie has nowhere to go but out when I sit which leaves me nothing to sit on but my spine!

I also have lower back pain but I think it is from bad posture sitting all day at work. Now that you said that I am making an effort to sit tall at my desk. But I am sure I will be slouching again with minutes. One of the girls at work has this thing she got at her chiropractors office that she sits on. It is like sitting on jelly. I am not sure why it would work but she said that her back feels much better because of it. Maybe I will get one and let you all know how it works.

I've had quite a few sciatic issues including a period of about a year where my entire right leg felt numb, heavy and dead. It drove me crazy, not pain but the leg just felt "different" to the other one, and then of course, I do have the typical sciatic bolt of pain occasionally on both sides. Also on my right side, my third and fourth toes are numb and tingly. Interestingly it was on the right side that I had all my heel problems too.

I had great success with acupuncture. It really helped me. I went for about eight months and in the end he phased me down as he thought he'd helped me all he could. All of a sudden about six weeks later I realised my leg felt normal. And it has ever since, it was quite miraculous.

My lower back is still touchy, I get sciatic pain occasionally but I feel SO much better now, I'd highly recommend acupuncture. Its my answer to everything now and truly, everything I"ve used it for, its fixed. Maybe I just have a miracle worker.
