For my part I will say thank you. Yes, we spent a lot of time this weekend. Pnut and I were having races to the coffee pot this morning at 8am my time after a whole night of tweaking and site work. LOL It truly is a labor of love, at least on my side. There are some truly awesome thing planned for this place, things that are going to change lives. I know I feel privileged just to have such a great community of friends, banded and not banded, to share in this with.

Have to agree with everyone above this site is fantastic. Let me know as well and I will also start handing out this site to all my lap band patients instead of the other one. This one is so much more loving and caring and not all the other crap going on and on and on! Many thanks to the members as well. We sincerely appreciate all the pats on the back for our efforts here, and we are very proud of our new home. It fell together in a rather divine way, and it's such an honor to be able to host a site full of such wonderful people.

It is the Members who make b2g so special. We are a family and we hope to see that family grow to amazing numbers in the near future. We hope that everyone gets settled in and focuses on growing together while leaving the past in the past. If we keep looking back, we won't be able to see where we are going, right? :)

PS - Something I have found very moving is the evidence of the comfort and security that y'all are feeling here at b2g. Have you all noticed it too? Look at all of the avatars of our members! For the very first time, I'm seeing faces of people I've talked to for months. That is such a compliment to Dawg and the Mod Squad, and we thank you!

I really appreciate all the votes of thanks and encouragement. This place had been sort of fermenting in my mind for some time. It got triggered a little early but it's coming along superbly.

My thanks to the moderation team for being willing to take part in what could be a stressful job.

I have a lot of plans for b2g and can always use a few more so feel free to chip ideas into the improving b2g forum.

I have three high priorities.
1. Figure out what the HELL is up with images not loading for people.
2. Installing a picture hosting system to eliminate the need for the picture threads entirely (you'll be able to add comments).
3. The journals. Journals are a very very big project and potentially risky. So I'm going to take my time on those.

The users and moderators of this land will make it great.
