Heading to NY...

I have bad news, my sister's husband (56 yrs) died suddenly this morning.
I am heading to NY tomorrow. She is only 45 and they have a 15 year old daughter. Last weekend they were devasted with the ice storm and now this.

Please keep us in your thoughts.

I will post an update at some point.

We are here, safe and sound in NY. The weather is very wet. We haven't slept good either. Friday morning is the funeral and it will test our strength. My sister and niece are holding up well, all things considered.

We are driving back on Sunday to return back to our 'life'. I am so sad that this has happened, the reality hasn't kicked in yet.

Today was more difficult then I expected, along with my sister's message about my niece having a rough night. I wish there was more I could do for them.
