First NSVs for me!!!

I had my first banded NSVs today - and pulled the hat-trick plus two!!!
I am in shock, as I am only just starting on my journey - this is unexpected. Somebody pinch me and wake me up!!!

ONE: DH says to me this morning: "You are changing already you know, your face and hips are different already"

TWO: I realise I can pull my size 26 work trousers on and off without undoing them (okay - they are HUGE 26's, probably should be labelled as 28...but that an NSV I'm claiming anyway!)

THREE: Dad says to me this evening: "You have lost weight!"

FOUR: Mum answers with :"Yes, hasn't she!"

FIVE: I have a wardrobe FULL of brand new size 26 and 24 shorts, 3/4 pants and trousers that I couldn't wear. There were mostly purchased at Target end-of-season $2 sales. I tried them on just before starting my lap band journey - and could only squeeze into one pair of the long trousers. Well, I can now COMFORTABLY wear all but two of the size 26's, and am not far off wearing some of the 24's as well.

Also had a few "WTF?" moments while trying on all those lovely new clothes - what IS it with women's clothes sizes that they can vary up or down what seems like two or more sizes???

...oh, and finally, those hated size 26 work trousers are going in the bin!!!

That is absolutely fantastic keep up the great work! Wait til you stand up and those pants fall to the floor without being unfastened...looks like that may be right around the corner with some of those pants. Please keep us posted!

Clothes falling off is a favorite NSV of mine, I haven't had huge amounts yet, but if I don't tie off my sweats, people get to see my boxers. I never tied sweatpants in my whole life.

Yep...most of the time, Big Dogs boxers...soon...as i've posted in another thread tonight...SILKY boxers.

503, I can't tell you what a HUGE Big Dog fan I am!. Even when I was much much thinner I wore big dog clothes just because I love them so much. I have about 8 of the polar fleece jackets and tons of sweatshirts with matching pants etc.!!! No boxers though...dang I knew I was forgetting something.

I lived in Bog Dogs for a long time, one of my decision makers was the realization that I no longer could fit in a bog dog 5x...and therefor could not buy anymore of their shirts.

Yay Anna! Just watch you shrink. Those are wonderful feelings, huh? Keep those eyes peeled for more. The NSV's happen when you aren't looking, and it's so fun!!!!

Goannabanda! Contratulations! I just love clothes NSV's. I don't care if it's finding that old ones fit, or trying on new sizes in stores. I just LOOOVE it!

Hey, sweetie, keep one of those monster trousers so you can take a picture of yourself standing in one of the legs when you are at goal. (And of course, post it for us :heh: :heh: ) Then, toss them in the bin.

Congrats Anna!!!
I got rid of all my 24's and now the 22 pants are loose. Its such an awesome feeling isn't it? I love how your family is noticing and supporting you.
