Well, I went for my PS consult and there is good news and bad news. I was told last Jan. to return when I was @ 170 pounds and I would be very pleased with the results of a TT and breast lift so I made an appointment to check out my options and the costs.

First thing she asked was had I plateued @ current weight for 6 mo. After telling her no and that I planned on losing another 20# she wants me to reach my goal and plateau for about 6 months. Who knew, I am not PS savvy.

She explained that if I had a breast lift done now then lost 20 pounds I'd lose 3# per breast and it would not be the results I wanted and I may want implants @ that time due to tissue loss and I would like the end results of TT better if I waited also. I am so glad she was honest with me and wasn't in it 'just for the money'. She has a great reputation in the community and now I know why. She's great and I fully trust her.

The TT, breast lift and lipo around hips will be $12, 675. That is about $6000 less than I expected! I am psyched! That's the good news. The surgery will take about 6and 1/2 hours.

My goal is that by end July '09 I can complete this journey! That's my goal e'ny how and I'm stickin' to it! It is a real motivation to keep on losing!

Congrats on your plans for PS. I've had TT, Lipo and breast augmentation and I can tell you you will never regret it. I had lost weight about 13 years ago, about 40 or maybe 50 lbs., (gained it all back and more) and after I lost that weight I had the procedures. I had mine all at the same time and 10 years later my left breast implant leaked so I had my breasts redone, I was going larger, and more lipo. That was 2006. I have never regretted the cosmetic surgery.

Even though I gained weight back, the PS has served me well. At 5'8'', 215 lbs, I carry my weight well and my stomach is as flat as can be. I just swelled up like a tick but my body shape has always been there. Now when I really lose weight with Lap Band, I'll bounce right back into shape! I've not had a waist line for quite a while! If after I lose 60 to 65 lbs I think I need morel, I'll be right back to my PS's office!

So, keep up your focus on your PS, it's a great goal to have, it will be the icing on the cake of losing all your weight!

Knowing how my breasts changed in the last 20lb or so of weight loss, I'd highly recommend waiting. i've definitely gone from needing a lift to needing a lift and implants. Not that I want any more size than I have but there is simply too much empty skin to remove it all, it needs to be filled out.

The last bits of weight loss are not necessarily the most flattering for you unfortunately. I've always said that I wanted to lose about another 15lb from where I am but in reality I can see now that I will STILL have saddlebags and a muffin top, just looser ones. And I think I'd be starting to look horribly gaunt up top. Its fine to lose them of course, and you should if you want to, but the point is that the PS is probably best to come AFTER that to rectify what the weight loss does.

That is almost what my PS said word for word. Things are not as ugly as they are gonna get! Phew, I can't imagine. But it has all been woth it so far.

I am here to testify that Jachut is 100% right! I had my TT and lost another 25 pounds. I wanted to have just a lift done at the same time, but I am glad I didn't, because I have NOTHING left up top. Now I really want a lift and implants so I don't look like a boy when they do the lift.

How is the TT after another 25# loss? I'm impatient and really hate to wait but that is what I was advised so I guess I will. Sounds like it is very good to waith for the lift . . .and probable implants! Thanks for sharing.

My TT is actually pretty good. He really made the tummy tight when he did it. It still looks pretty good.

I am really thinking of TT and a lift. At what weight should I be before doing that. I have the month of July off I was really hoping to do all then.

My PS said get to your goal, plateau for six months, then get the surgery done. Did you read the first of this post, that losing 20 pounds takes 1 1/2 pounds off each breast. I found that amazing! So if your looking at a breast lift . . . wait. Looking at your progress you should be ready in July. Mid July is my goal. Keep in touch and we can compare notes. I am such a sissy when it comes to pain.

Hmm, I think that would depend if you're losing 20lb of 100 you need to lose or 20lb you dont really need to lose - there ISNT 1.5lb left of each of my breasts, lol.

Its hot here today and I put a summer dress on. Had to take it off because it showed too much cleavage every time I moved, not something that would ever have worried me, but saggy, empty skin cleavage is NOT a good look!

I weighed 165 when I went in to get my TT and thigh lift. I am glad I waited on the breast lift because the last of my weight came off my ta-ta's! I would not have chosen an implant 20 pounds ago. I thought I had enough on my own. Now, I have absolutely nothing buut skin...gross! I need some saline!
