Get your babysitters lined up -- it's that time of year again!!
Time to get together with friends and celebrate the holidays with good food, good drink, and fun presents!
The party will be on Saturday, December 13th, at 6:30pm. We will be doing a pot luck of snacking type foods, so bring your favorite bandster-friendly dish to share. Diets sodas, iced tea, and hot coffee will be provided. Alcohol is welcome. BYOB and a designated driver!
This year's party will be at Dawg and P'Nuts house again.
I will be happy to PM or email our address and directions to anyone who needs it.
Out of town guests who need a place to stay, PM me! Our two guest rooms have already been reserved by
Chevygirl (DeAnn) and NewLifeAt57 (Mel) but I'm sure we could find someone for you to stay with!
Last year's gift swap was so much fun we have decided to do that again!
So, everyone please bring one small, wrapped gift to participate in the swap.
The gift can be serious or funny. Electric can openers welcome!
The party will go on until the last bandster leaves. Everyone is invited. Bring your spouse or significant other!
Please RSVP on this thread or by PM so we can be sure to have a gift bag for you.
We hope to see all of you there! Even if we haven't met you yet! Happy Holidays, everyone!

I'll so be there!
I should probably be responsible and get a pupsitter this year. I think though I was finally successful in convincing everyone that Molly likes wearing her party dress.

My plane ticket hasnt arrived yet? Have you sent it?
Lol, wish I could be there. Christmas would certainly be differnet. We'll be sweltering in 40 degrees celcius and eating cold ham and turkey and salads outside again this year.

Susan, I would love to come, but I won't be there, I think in my move to Washington State I missed the beginning of the plans for the Big Christmas Party and I didn't clear my scedule or make arrangements to be there... maybe next big event I can make it...
I'll be wishing everyone a great time.... !!

Just a few more days till the party!! I know everyone's looking forward to it! I sure am!
May - A lot of folks who are coming haven't posted on here. And you'd already told me you were coming, so no worries! :)
Jearlin - you're more than welcome to come to any of our social events! Its a shame you wont be able to make it to this one, but darn it would have been a hoot to have you here! Next year for sure! And one of these days I'm going to surprise you Washington folks by coming up your way. *winks*

Well I got home from the hospital Sunday at noon. I started physical therapy Monday morning. They replaced the lower part of the knee. The top part of the artificial knee was okay. I am really looking forward to the party. Is there anyone out there who is going to the party that I could hitch a ride with? I live over below the airport.

I'd love to come, but can't Susan. I'm not feeling so good and I am hosting a day long meeting tomorrow. i think I will be used up and not a lot of fun to be with.
We have burned our candles from both ends til they are burnt up during the campaign season and need to figure out how to wax our wicks. Hmmmm that sounds mildly exciting....
Thank you for inviting us. Deb

Hi everyone! I arrived here early yesterday morning, Mel came in last night! We made it in to greet her after our long climb up the escalator! You just had to of been there! We went to a very special Christmas shop after shopping for special ornaments, Susan drove us around looking at Christmas lights in the neighborhood! It was so beautiful. But COLD! rain and snow mixed! After returning to Paul and Susan! we all got on our Jammie's and settled in to watch a Holiday Classic, The Holiday Inn. What a great movie! Last night I felt like a little girl waiting for Santa to come Christmas eve! I woke up every hour looking out the window for SNOW! no Snow! Today we went shopping for a short time.. finished up here and enjoyed time together. I promise pictures tomorrow! It is snowing now with all the lights it is just beautiful ........ more tomorrow!

One of the best places I have found for ornaments has been Cracker Barrel ! You can have a nice meal and then have a blast in the store. I really like to go there when the seasonal items go on clearance!
Have fun!

Hi y'all. Arrived safe and sound in Boise. DeeAnn, Susan and Sara were there to greet me. What a treat to see their wonderful smiles as I came through the gate. I have been having a wonderful time and wish I could stay longer. DeeAnn is keeping tabs of my flight, just in case my flight gets canceled or postponed or is late because of the snow Boise is having. According to reliable sources, Seattle is also under seige by a bit of snow.
DeeAnn was the official picture-taker last night and she got some great pictures. I think she will be posting some pictures later. I took a few, but I have decided that I am not very good with my picture taking abilities. But I will post a couple that I did take (that is if they turn out OK). Idaho B2Gers ROCK!! Great bunch of people!
We are getting ready to head out. first to pick up Sara from work then lunch then to the airport.....*sniff*....... This was the best time I've had in a very long time. Paul and Susan are the best. I couldn't have asked for better people to know. I really needed this time away from home.
More later.....
