The baby is doing wonderfully and mom is steadily getting better too. I have been in the hospital twice in the past week due to vomiting/diarrea issues, and they hooked me up to an IV to rehydrate me both times. They found that I had a bad sinus infection, as well as a UTI, so I'm on an antibiotic for that right now.

I am on a 2 week leave from work due to illness, and am taking advantage of just relaxing and trying to get myself well again. At least I can eat again, which was a huge step for me.

I'm feeling more human again, and am looking forward to seeing my surgeon, nutritionitst, and specialist next week. It'll feel good to check in with them and get their input on everything too.

Thanks for thinking of me Paula. It's been a rough last 3 weeks, thus the silence around here. I think I was seeing more of my bed than anything or anyone else because I just had to.

I'm down 5 pounds from start weight, so it'll be interesting to see if that continues to go down or if it'll start going back up.

I'll check back in when I learn more next week. Take care everyone!

So good to hear you are feeling better. Take care of yourself and that beautiful baby growing inside you. Don't worry about the weight loss right now. All in due time my dear. How is dylan doing? He must be big boy now !!!
take care

Hey Kelly - so glad I saw this thread. Youve been my mind.

My good friend, Lisa - is due ANY day. She will be induced on Thursday if nothing happens before then.
She and I were just saying how time goes by SO slow when you're waiting for something great... and when the package 'arrives' it seems like the time FLEW by!
Strange, eh?

Cherish these days with big brother. It'll never be just the 3 of you again... and God help us if new baby is a Girl! Dylan will learn YOUNG how the females RULE the nest! :D

How many weeks are you?
Im agree with Kathy.. you need a baby ticker on your siggy.. so us 'baby-nuts' can keep tabs on ya!

I am 9 weeks today Paula! It's flying by so fast it blows my mind. The weeks are zooming by, and that's the way I like it!
