Thanks for posting this, Susan. I'm going to be at the Thursday meeting. I hope you & Dawg will be there as I'm looking forward to meeting you in person. You too, IdahoBeauty & LindaV. I really wanted to come to your bbq last month, but my youngest has football on Saturdays and we needed to be there for him. Looks like you all had a wonderful time!
Thanks for ALL you do and for the inspiration you are to me!

Maybe in spring there will be BBQ 2 - return of the killer BBQ! I know a few of the out-of-state-ers have discussed plans for next year already and I'm up for it.

Kind of a shame that you had to leave early Susan - you actually missed me relax and actually SAY something :p

Shery, I hope you get to the next meeting. It should be a good one. The more personal (and in my mind practical) are so much more fullfilling than the standard support group (but still worthwhile).

I'd just like to state - for anyone who visited the BBQ, thanks so much for coming! It was a great event and we hope to stage many more.

Hey all, just wanted to say yo. Hope to see you all at the Thursday meeting, I am looking forward to the quest speaker talking on the issues. Please if any of you have a topic for one of the meetings just let us know and we will make it happen, remember "It's your group"

Have an awesome day today and call or email another bandster to give them an encouraging word for the day, my word for you all is "Outstanding".

With 2 more (Idaho Beauty and DH), we now have a possible 16 in attendance! (Most have RSVP'd utilizing private e-mail or Yahoo IdahoBandster list). There will also be several long-time bandsters banded and receiving their fills in Mexico, that should be able to answer any questions you may have about banding outside of the US.

Anyone up for dinner at Applebee's again before tonight's meeting? (I had a fill for Tuesday's dinner and only had french onion soup.)

Sorry, we wont be able to make it to dinner. In fact, we are seriously considering staying home tonight and missing the meeting. We are both so tired. If we don't make it, someone take notes and post a summary of the meeting here for us. In fact, someone should share the ideas with the entire b2g community since we will all be facing the challenges of holiday eating. Aw darnit, now I feel guilty for not going. I might make it yet. heh

*grumbles as she hauls her fat bum out of the chair and gets ready to go*

Fine.. fine.. we'll be there. But I'm sleeping through the meeting! :P

I am planning on being at the meeting tonight who else is with me?

LindaV

This thread is confusing as far as dates go. Today is December 12 and I'll be at the meeting tonight. Carla, Jerry and I are planning on doing the usual dinner at Applebees before the meeting. We meet around 5:45 at the restaurant on Emerald by the Mall.

Let me know if anyone else is planning on being there and I will get there a little early to reserve a table.

Susan...? Paul...? Anyone...?

Idahobeauty
12-12-2006, 10:01 AM
LOL.. we will be there.. you can disregard my pm now... I know wich one.

LindaV

Too late--I already answered! Glad you guys will be there though.

PhotoNut
12-12-2006, 10:26 AM
Oh shoot, I wasn't going to go to Applebees. I was going to try to be good, but I can't stand everyone getting together without me! LOL!

The dates are confusing? Did I get them wrong? *goes to check*

I took off the November events. Did that help?

Idahobeauty
12-12-2006, 10:51 AM
OH GOOD!! P'nut and Dawg are going to dinner too!!! We are really getting good at this partying thing huh? LOL

Actually, we have decided to forego dinner. I'm too tight to each much today, so we are going to save the money and eat at home. See you all at the meeting tonight. :)

Idahobeauty
12-12-2006, 09:10 PM
Yes, and where were you??? I have 7 pink pointsettias for you and several other plants...Call me when you can.

LindaV
12-12-2006, 09:11 PM
What was confusing was I didn't know which meetings people were refering to. I figured the last post was probably tonight's meeting but it was a little hard to tell.

By the way...where were you guys? They didn't have a facilitator for tonight's meeting. They are changing the night to the 4th Monday of the month and will have a new facilitator for the January meeting.

We all missed you!

And Susan (Idahobeauty) and Pat--Thanks for the beautiful Poinsettias!

PhotoNut
12-12-2006, 09:49 PM
Sorry we werent there. I seem to have developed a bad case of um.. tummy problems. *chuckles and blushes* I needed to be home near the bathroom. :P

And you have poinsettias for me? How awesome! I'll call you tomorrow!

What did you all do since there was no facilitator?

Idahobeauty
12-12-2006, 09:57 PM
We sat around and chatted with a new member and the lady that is still waiting for insurance approval. And we also missed you.

Idahobeauty
12-13-2006, 06:51 AM
P'Nut, yep, call me today. I will be helping out at the greenhouse but I can bring them over after work if you want.

Carla posted this on the Yahoo groups. I hope she doesn't mind me copying it here. I think it would help if we all responded on the Yahoo groups message board, since the group that does Soup Night is typically on that board. Here is Carla's message. If you wish to be part of the soup night, sign up with IdahoBandsters@yahoogroups.com and post your response.

Of course, we can always discuss Boise events here too, and I'll update the main page of this thread soon.
