Another NSV :o)

Today was our ole hen club craft day (as my daughter calls it), bunch of my friends get together for the whole day of talking and doing a craft of our choice. We bring a dish to pass and pay $2.00 to help with the hall rent, it starts about 9 am and goes until sometimes as late as 10 pm the same day.. lol

Anyway, I hadn't seen a friend of mine since before I had my lap band surgery. She came up to me and said.. "Donna, you look like you're half here". I told her I was kinda tired today cuz it's been raining for 2 days straight. She said "NO.. I mean you're 1/2 of what I saw you last".. :) What a great feeling, and she didn't judge me for having surgery either. We have the same PCP, and she said she wanted to have gastric bypass when it first came out, and he didn't want her to have it. I suggested she ask him about lap band surgery now. I don't know if she will, but she sure made my day.

Also the hall that we rent for our craft day belongs to a local church. They're having a garage sale and they had clothes piled up on tables in another part of the hall. I went shopping, and got a coat, 3 pairs of jeans, and a pair of jeans for Max too. The jeans are a size 16P, I haven't tried them on yet, not sure if they'll fit, but for $1.00 a bag (which I fit all these clothes in a paper grocery sack) I didn't think I could go wrong. Hopefully I can get them on soon. I'm so happy!!

:happy2:Donna, nothing says weight loss like getting into a small size in clothes, and at a bargin no less. Good for you!!!!!!! And having someone say you look 1/2 your size it the icing on the ff/sf cake.

That must have been a great feeling donna. Im sure you have many more great comments as you run into people you havent seen. Im also going to nominate you the b2g shopper of the year , first you get a awesome dress and now you tell us you got a bag full of clothes for a dollar. I can see there are lots of reasons why max loves you so much...pretty , crafty and thrifty. Do you watch sports , fish or know how to fix a flat tire ? If you do max betta watch out your becoming alot of mens dream girl. Id say if you cut the lawn your high in demand girl.

I love it!!! What a great NSV. I think I need to start my own thread, too. Donna you are such a kick to read about. I hope to meet you some day. I have a cousin somewhere in MI. If I ever get to visit her, I will definitely try to find you.

Oh you guys, I just read each post to Max and he's laughing and smiling so big just like me .. you all made me smile!!!

Teresa.. a girl can learn to do too much ;) .. lmao I don't really like sports, I mean some are ok, lol and I don't fish or know how to change a tire .. I'm your typical house plant lol
