That would be great, Do you use the fill center usa? I was banded by Dr. Avila in Blackfoot & will be having my first fill tomorrow morning. I am excited & hoping that I will have some restriction. Right now I dont really have much restriction.

I also just noticed your band date is very close to mine. I was banded on Nov 16, 2006 and my BMI was also 37.5 so it will be nice to check progress and set goals with you! Send me a pm and we can try to meet for lunch sometime! Thanks again for the welcome!

Yes, I will be using the fill center. We were banded really close to the same time. I am getting my first fill Wed Morning. We can certainly keep check with each other. We will have to do lunch on the weeks that I am not getting a fill. All of my fills are scheduled for 11:30 am...dang. Oh well. If maybe we could meet up Wed. after my fill just for coffee or tea or whatever. It will give us a chance to meet anyway. If P'Nut goes with me you could meet her too. P'Nut is a WONDERFUL woman. I am sure you will love her just like we all do. I will pm you and give you my info.

I dont feel dufferent yet, he put in 1cc he said to give it a few days to see how it feels. I have my second fill appointment scheduled in two weeks so hopefully that will give me enough time to tell how much restriction I have if any. I have seen a lot of bandsters stay it takes a few fills to feel the restriction. Where is the fill center that you are using in Pocatello? Is it with Cindi Rice? I have heard that she does them. I heard good things about her as well. Good Luck! I am excited to be starting this phase!

Hi Gxkelle!

I'm in Boise but wanted to welcome you to b2g and to the Idaho group. :)

Grats on your first fill. Be sure to take it easy when you start back on solid foods. It's quite possible that everything will be completely different than before. Then again, it's quite possible that you won't notice much change at all and need more fill. Either way, its always smart to expect that nothing stays constant with your band. Each day, and sometimes each meal, can bring surprises - and not all of them good! Take small bites, chew until its goo, dont drink with or after the meal and you should do well. Oh, and always pay attention to the warning signs. If your band tells you its time to stop - trust me, it is time to stop. LOL!

Idaho Beauty how did your fill go today? Hope it went well. I am on day 2 of my fill do not feel that much of a difference restriciton wise yet but I know it can take a few days to kick in. I talked to my Dr today and let him know, he said that it was pretty normal for the first fill. I see him again next Friday for my next fill and am hoping to fill some restriction. You will have to let me know how yours went!

P'Nut thanks for the advise I did use it today to tried to listen my band. I chewed a lot and went real slow. Still not feeling much restriction but I am hoping I will with my next fill. Thanks again for the words of wisdom.

Hiya Foofer! I'm so sorry I didnt see your post until now. Welcome to bandland and to b2g! I was banded by Dr. Cahn but I hear Dr Anderson had his hands on me too. *laughs* They both assist in all band surgeries so we are all semi-related in an odd sort of way. *laughs*

Anyway, its good to have you with us.

And... as I type I see that we have quite a few Idaho bandsters online with us today, so  hello everyone!!

Geeze, where have I been (besides the 45 hours a week at my regular job and the 10 hours a week at a second job)

Gxkelle, I am glad things went well with your fill. I swear I will get to Pocatello when I CAN have lunch.

Foofer, welcome. We are here for you if you have questions or just wanna chat.
