Getting my car serviced used to be a pain in the bum. Not so anymore. I need to pick up my car at 2.30 (45 mins time). The dealership is 8.5k away.

Do I call a taxi and pay $20 for it.?

Nup, just lacing up my running shoes! Got my visa card and housekey in my little waist pouch thingie.

And now I wont have to make time to go out tonight either!

You Gooooooo Jacqui!!! I have a little vision of you in dress up clothes with sneakers on, running home :)

I walked 45 mins today, my legs can feel it. I doubt if I'll be running, but walking sure makes me feel good. You're an inspiration Jacqui, for me anyway :)

I'm jealous, Jachut. I can't even walk 1/10th of a mile, much less run five miles. EEK!

My hubby and I were talking about it today. He is really hoping getting the band will mean I can walk soon. My mother got gastric bypass, and it didn't do much for her mobility- just made her a more comfortable couch potato. I have been really exercising hard for 6 months, and should have gained some mobility, but I think I am walking worse now than 6 months ago. I told hubby that whether I walk or not, I will be more active. I'll jiust have to buzz around more on my wheelchair- LOL.

Lol, I needed a wheelchair by the end of it.

Running is weird. Some days feel incredible, you're light and can go for hours, other days - well yesterday I felt like I was trying to run through water. It was my fourth day in a row of running that far, I would have had a break but for the fact that it otherwise would have cost me for a cab to get to the car dealership. I figured, why not, just run it. It was also 2pm and quite warm and windy in Melbourne, I normally run later when its much cooler, and we're just coming out of winter here, so not used to 20 degree days (that's celcius!).

Today is definitely a rest day though!
