I am banded...

got my band on Friday -- stayed overnight in the hospital and came home early Saturday morning. The hospital was most accommodating. My partner had her surgery at 7:30; mine was scheduled for noon -- but needless to say it was closer to 2 until they took me to the operating room. The hospital put us in the same room for overnight. Made it a lot more comfortable. I tell you, I am a lot more sore than I expected to be. I had planned on going back to work tomorrow, but think I will take one more day. Am doing fine with the protein shakes and liquids. And ain't popsicles grand!

I am so impressed that you all had the surgery the same day. But thinking about it, it will be easier living with your partner following the same diet. :tea:

Then you won't want to kill them in their sleep when they had pasta and you had an Isopure for dinner (not that it happened to me, I'm just saying :rolleyes: )

well, I went back to work this morning. My partner has a much longer drive so she is working at home the rest of the week. Don't know how long I will last at the office, but it's good to be doing something. Have to figure out that whole ticker factory thing. I've actually lost 14 pounds since the surgery -- know that's not a real number but it works for me right now.
