My Port Flipped !!!

I can not believe the problems I am having with this band/port. I was banded in January this year and have had discomfort near the port for some time. I have had fills and even had to empty it due to overfill. After my Dr. unfilled my band a month ago, yesterday I went in to start all over with fills and learned that my port had flipped completely around. I am a short woman and my port is right below my rib cage. So now I am waiting for my insurance approval so I can get it fixed. I am so fustrated :going_mad:.

I am sorry to hear that....My port flipped when I was about 9 months post op. MD fixed and it and (fingers crossed) since then it's been fine. :) I know it's frustrating....but hang in there and it will be fixed and you will be moving along just fine!
