I haven't had surgery yet.

:treadmill:My youngest daughter got me to join a fitness gym for three months with her last Friday. We plan to go 3 days a week. I like to walk, ride bike and swim. I wish this place had a pool.

We went today for her first workout and I had to have training due to a knee, ankle and back issues. I'll have to wear my knee brace that's for sure.

The main ones I'll do are the treadmill, bike and a couple of machines for upper body strength. We'll see how I do, keep you posted.

start off slow and work your way up...u will be surprized how good you feel when you're all done.
my second humble piece of working out advise..is keep it different...do stuff you love...like swimming...i also like to do circuit training so my body doesnt get bored...for instance
5 minutes on the treadmill, 5 on the stairclimber, 5 on the eliptical, (insert any exersice you prefer) and do 3 sets of that or two, whatever you can handle. it makes the time go by way faster, and keeps it fun....
also i would say to do some strength training. your body needs muscle to help burn fat...trust me its way funner than cardio! also, to prevent muscle weight...do more reps with fewer weights..instead of doing 10 reps with 40 pounds, do 25 reps with 10 pounds...and do at least 1 day of strength training to every 3 days of cardio, just while losing weight. the best thing about strength training is...your body continues to burn fat even after your workout. cause the muscles are repairing themselves. cool huh?
sorry..i had a personal trainer....lol...do whats comfy for you!!! :)
and HAVE FUN! you will hate missing even one day once you have gotten into it! promise!
