bee in my bonnet

Hey guys,
Are any of you going to the Monday night meeting on the 25th? It will be my first meeting. I noticed that the Thursday meeting was cancelled...
Well, my journey is definitely progessing very quickly. I was johnny on the spot scheduling my appointments and finished my last 2 with Jolyn and Mark Snow last Tuesday.
Jolyn was WONDERFUL and I really enjoyed meeting with her. I think that she will be able to help me a lot. We snickered together about Dr Cahn's preop diet (thanks Linda!) and made some very slight modifications so that I will be getting enough protien. Honestly, I am pretty overwhelmed right now. I can't imagine not having solid food for 4 weeks prior to surgey and then basically 6 weeks- 10 weeks afterwards. I am a little apprehensive but very committed.
And OMG, the psychological testing was awful! I sat in a small waiting room, sharing a tiny desk with someone who seemed to have some serious issues, answering like 800 questions. Yikes! I still have an indent on my finger from filling in the bubbles. But woohoo, he said that I was normal (little does he know ).
Soooo, I meet with Dr Cahn on Monday afternoon at 2pm. I assume that he will then get the paperwork submitted to Empire Blue Shield and I will hopefully not have to wait long for approval.
YAY!
