Ok had my redo surgery on Aug 5th Yea I made it lol.. any way they removed the port.. an what I was told is moved it to another location.. However I can not find it at all feeling around on my stomach an the other one I could find easy. makes me nervous becuase my doc had to be shown were it was when geting fills.. no I cant even find this one lol oh no I hope the put it back in... Plus I feel NO an I MEAN NO restriction an I though pre surgery I hit my "sweet spot" help lol

I would ask your doctor 1) where he put it, and 2) is there any fill in it? He may have left it unfilled.

If you are really concerned and need peace of mind, ask for a x-ray or flouro or whatever they do.

Lucky you! You may have gotten the low profile port.
Mine is high profile.

You also may be swollen in the general area now. I agree with Stitchy, talk to the Dr. and ask where he put it. As long as he knows where to find it, nothing else really matters. DB

Hi, when I had my repair surgery for my leak they put in a small amount of liquid and I had to I guess start all over again on my fills;-(

I will be talking with my sugeron parnter today as to the one I normally see went out of town thanks for the info about the fill never would have thought about that...

I would double check with your doc. Write down a list of questions. Remember, you are paying him and he needs to make the time for you. Good luck.

went to see my doc partner today an he answered all my questions... yea .. althought he did tell me that I have an infection in the port area.. iv antibotics. so in the hospital I sit for a couple days but we are all good lol...!!!

I had my question answered an recived my iv meds so we are ok. I still have an ifection was told i had to wait till my doc got back from out of town for him to look at it.. no big deal
