Fall is here. Summer clothes don't do it anymore. I opened up my boxes of winter clothes. The pants that were unbearably tight last winter feel so comfortable this year. Some of the sweaters are way too big, but I found a box of my *skinny* clothes that I loved and couldn't bear to part with. They fit!
So, to all of you in cold climates, find those clothes! You'll feel so good about yourself.

Stitchy, isn't that the most wonderful NSV!!!
I did the same thing about two weeks ago. I had four bags of large clothes to donate, and I was able to get into things I haven't worn in three years.
Of course, when I drop the next size or two, it will be time to go shopping!!
Just started sorting through the winter stuff! My wool blazers all button closed and are way loose! Yowza!

Living in Texas means putting on long pants when it gets cool and tan starts to fade! I've been clearing out my closet of all the clothes that are too big. I found some clothes that were too small, but they don't fit right either. I gained, and now lost, my weight differently. Guess I'll just have to go buy some new.... tough job, but I'm up for it. :)

Stitchy, I like that NSV. I went from a size 22 to a size 10/12 so it's been almost impossible for me to try and get away with anything. I've become very friendly with my seamstress and she's been good about taking up most of my things. But for the most part, I've had to shop for new everything.
It's so nice but so expensive, I've become good friends with Ross, Marshall, Dress Barn, Target and some of the other not so expensive stores. There are a few things that I've really liked at designer stores and I've got them but for the most part, I'm having a lot of things re-made.
Keep up the good work!!!

Me TOO! Same 4 stores I shop at!
Stitchy, this IS a wonderful NSV.
We recently had our first 'cool' front and I had to dig out some warmer clothes - and I thought of how GRAND it feels to actually FIT into the clothes I wore last fall/winter.
So many times I would put on old seasonal clothes and somewhere/someplace things just didnt fit the same as before...
but they DO now!

****WARNING: Hi Jack*******
Hey Mary, I found a Jones New York brand shirt (2 actually) for 9.99 a piece ~ at Ross.
Have any idea what price bracket this line of clothing runs at Dillards? :yuck:
Ross is my friend!
