Share your workout regimine with the B2G community. This is a great way to see what others are doing. Post only your regimine or list of different things you like to do that you actually do. Consider this your "Battle of the Buldge" Card. So when someone says, "How did you lose all of that weight so fast?" you just show them this card/thread.

That's great Vegas,

I change things up. I will do home exercises a few days per week, free weights or circuit training 3x's per week, cardio daily and ab work daily. Of course I get bored, so I just switch it up.

I do a variety of things, depending on how I feel that day and what shape my legs are in (I have bad knees from a prior accident)

Cardio:
30 minutes jump rope
30 minutes heavy bag work
30 minutes shadowboxing
30 minutes jogging
30 minutes rowing
1 hour Tae-Bo

Weights:
Light weight and lots of reps on our universal gym at home

Toning and stretching:
1 hour pilates
1 hour yoga

Basically I take this list, and choose 1 hour worth of cardio in the morning, and one hour of cardio at night 5 ays a week. I also do an hour of stretching everyday. I do the light weight training 3 days a week.

Pnut's son is a really great personal trainer, and I had the priviledge of speaking to him on the phone last week. He really helped me to figure out some things that would help to strengthen my knees. And he also told me that since I have overdeveloped my legs in the past that it would be ok for me to NOT do anymore hard leg work for a while and focus on fat loss and upper body. I have to be very careful to not blow out my knees again. I can't thank him enough for his instruction and support!!

I run about five times a week, I do a mix of long slow runs of about 6 kms, short faster "interval" type runs involving inclines and/or speed bursts and once or twice a week I head outside to run with Eliza in the jogger.

I give it about 45 mins to an hour each time.

I should do some strenght training but I just dont have the blinking time. I really keep promising myself I will at least add ab work, pushups and tricep dips, I honestly dont think my lower body needs anything more than the running, which has really toned me up.

I'm kind of making it up as I go along but the weight is coming off so must be doing something right...right?
I walk on treadmill 2x30mins a day 6 days a week (sometimes7). I am slowly increasing the speed and I use the incline now and will build this too.
I swim when I can and I use whatever I can find to use as weights for my arms at home (2 tins baked beans etc)...will invest in free weights or 'something' a little later.
I have also introduced an aerobics dvd 3x a week now that my knees will let me do a little more than just walk.

boxing is amazing!!! I love shadowboxing for a good cardio workout, and the heavy bag work really really has helped my back and shoulders. def check it out. just remember to not o the heavy bag for 30 minutes or an hour straight. take it in rounds. 3 minute bursts of energy, then a few moments cool down, then 3 minutes, etc. that way you can stick to it and it really works the muscles.

Here's my exercise routine. I make sure I break a sweat & get my heart rate up for at least 30 min. a day.

On Mondays I thoroughly clean my house & I make it a challenge. I work fast & hard. I purposely scrub the floors on my hands & knees. I get IN the tub & work the tile up & down so I get good leg workout. I am sweating so hard after a good 2 hrs. & it feels good.

The rest of the week I will walk on my treadmill. Or, if the weather is good I will go for a long, fast walk outside. But, since I'm in AZ, the treadmill works for me right now.

Every other day I get out my big ball & weights & do all kinds of strengthening exercises. I make sure I do sit-ups every day. My favorites right now are the ones I downloaded from here that Joyce posted. I LOVE them.

Okay, that's about it!!!!! My motto is to make exercise fun. Truly, I would rather not exercise, but I do it because I know it's good for me. :)

Telly and I were talking this morning about how her and i are having great success with the band, and making it work. We have seen huge drops in weight, and...well...look at telly! She is near goal and has worked her ass off literally!! It is hard at first, just like getting into any routine is hard, but we can all do it. Your metabolism is at its highest in the first year of getting the band, and you can lose a majority if not all of your weight during this time if you really try and wrok with the band. Even GB patients are encouraged to workout.

I met with my new trainer today. It was tough because I wanted to workout more than she expected me to. She saw a fat person who is prolly lazy and not motivated and has a lot of problems. She wanted me to do things to work on my water intake and do all of my workouts in a pool so that it is easier for me. she also wanted me to average a pound a week. HA! I do that in my sleep! I explained that my nutrition part was taken care of, I am happy to do cardio for 4 hours a day every weekday, and I just needed her to help me with my muscle toning. She also stuttered when i told her i drank a gallon and a half a day "I don't even drink that much!" I told her "You should. Its good for you"

But I did get a GREAT muscle workout nailed down with her. I am going to do an hour of cardio-muscle work every three days. those day i will also do the following: Rower 1 hour 45 minute, eliptical 15 minutes, treadmill 1 hour. On the days i have no muscle work i will do the treadmill for 2 hours. And the eliptical I will try to do for 5 minutes more every week, and that means 5 minutes less on the rower.

With this much time and work at the gym I am close to losing 2 pounds a day on those days. I have a rediculous goal. But I have talked to my doctor, my heart is in perfect health, and my blood pressure is low. I am ready for this much work, and it feels good. I actually have MORE energy! Its crazy! And I have a good chance of reaching my goal. If I don't, hey! At least I get close! :D

Funny, I saw your heavy bag in the garage. I need one of those suckers in my garage. It get's soo hot in there too. I bet you if I got one and punched around on it for about 30 minutes to an hour a day I would see some crazy changes in my arms. I think I'll punch at the heavybag in the gym today.

Sigh, its back to an ordinary regime for me - three times a week running 5kms or so on the treadmill and two longer runs outside. I try to do one of those runs on a Sunday morning somewhere scenic, Melbourne has several good spots and beach paths.

For the last two weeks though we've been on holidays. Being at Australia's most easterly point we were up VERY early because the sun came up and it was full daylight by 5.30 am, and the house we rented only had timber venetians which dont block light very well. So we'd get up and go for a run along the beach at Byron, half way up to the lighthouse and back down the boardwalk and through town. Gorgeous - scenic, fresh air, crashing waves, huge long beaches. That was a 7km circuit we had worked out, then we'd be walking to and from town several times a day, for groceries, to the beach, for a bit of lunch. Then on top of that we did several long bushwalking sessions. All in all we easily covered 15kms per day on foot, wish I had the time and ability to do that at home!

I walk and run my hinny off(I walk between 4/6 mile a day on average) And walk 8/10 on my days off i.e sat/sun am before church and taking my kids 2 soccer and ballet. Lots of push ups, squats and lunges and crunches. I workout when I have free time through ou my day. Not being able to eat when I'm full make me bored now. So I just go for a walk. That 's all I do for now. I will start kick boxing once I find the time at my local boxing gym.
