WooHoo! I have a DATE!

I have a date! I will be banded (if all goes well) at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 20th! I'm excited and now have so much to do to get ready.

There was a sale on some Isopure bottles at GNC, because there were expiring in Dec. I got them for .50 and .75 as opposed to 3.75!

I also found my two favorite protien powders. Spiro-tein Chocolate Peanut Butter and Carrot-tein Carrot flavor. I actually like all of the flavors I've tried so far. The carrot I just got on a whim, but if you sprinkle a little pumpkin pie spice and vanilla in it it tastes just like carrot cake, I swear!

I also have to get the laundry monster under control and make sure the house is spic and span.

So much to do!

I have a progressive limo party this weekend for my sister, so I will be doing my "last meal" at some of the finest establishments in Houston. Much good food and even alcohol! I'll have a Martini in your honor, Diva - and a Cosmo - and some Buttershots...mmmm, Buttershots. I hope I don't puke. What a waste of fine food and call brand liquor!

The next weekend I have a Cub Scout campout - some humility and exercise before the big day.

The rest of the week beforehand I'll be cleaning and preparing the cupboards. I have taken that week and the following week off from work. Yeah, I only work part-time and it is for my sister up the street, but I still have responsiblities. She has no problem with it. It's all me, me, me for two weeks, as it should be.:humble:

503-250, nope, not datin' the doctor - I'll stick with my tried and true engineer.

I gave up on Jack back in high school. The smell of sour mash makes me wanna heave. I prefer, vodka or rum - or even taquila. I don't really drink very much at all anymore, but this is a special occasion.:party:

I had my "last supper" this past Sat. at the Olive Garden. It was good, but for some reason, I really didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

my last meal was Thanksgiving and afterwards the wife commented that I barely ate...I don't know..some people go nuts on their last meal...some people don't.

YAY on your date by the way!!! Only a few days apart for us waaahoooo! It will be nice to have someone to compare silly notes with. Not weight, just things we figure out on our own ya know? It's one thing to hear about them on here, but experiencing them is TOTALLY different.

Paula, you're a riot. I've never heard of Back Yard Burgers, but I've found few burgers in my life that I didn't like. Fuddrucker's are pretty good - I remember spending a lot of evenings after football games at LSU there. My kids like it too - but I think they are more partial to the milkshakes. After my pre-op on Thursday, I'm sure I'll have at least one more "last meal".

Christy, we will be just about at the same place. I'm starting a few pounds behind you (not many), but that just means you'll probably lose faster to start so maybe we'll even out in a couple of months. We can hold hands! Heeeere we goooooo!
