1 .I, went to my Doctor yesterday,he stated Degenrative changes with a moderate sized paracentral disc herniation at t11-t12, which is causing anterolateral indenttation of the conus.

2.Disc bulging at multiple levels with narrowing of the lateral recess of L. 2-3 and l 4-5 nerve root compression.

3. A couple of hemangiomas within the the vertebral body the conus terminates at t 12 leval T 11 is blowen out, they like to do Surgery by coming through the stomach. the hemangiomas have growen in a few months due to disc herniation they are going to wait on those?

I, am going to make an appointment to go to the Mayo clinic, in Rodchester Mn.

I'm a back injury sufferer as well, t3-t12 with assorted bulging and herniated discs (4 herniated 2 bulging) and I know your pain. This surgery will be a lot of work, but it will also be a solution for much of your pain.

My prayers and best wishes are with you.

JQ take care of yourself. My father had two back surgeries after living with pain for years. He works out 3 times a week now at age 90 -- painlessly.

Here's to a Mayo solution and speedy recovery.

JQ I'm so sorry to hear about your disks....I've herniated 3 in neck and 3 in lower back over the years....heaven only knows I KNOW all about that pain...though I haven't had surgery of any kind, I too suffer daily with pain

I'll keep you in my prayers DAILY! Mayo is an awesome place, that's terrific that you can go there

I've been praying for you and you are in my thoughts daily....as I deal with my pain I remember that you are suffering with even more pain....God bless you and hang in there - the hardest part of the pain is the depression I think - so I'm praying extra hard that the depression lifts and you can get some relief.

I hope you have a non-surgical route to persue before resorting to back surgery.

I have a friend who has had 4 back surgeries and will have a 5th by the end of the year. The additional surgeries are mostly from scar tissue from previous surgeries.

Hello every one! just wanted to let you guys no that I went to the Surgeon office he told me that the only thing they could do for me was Fuse my whole back. And they don't due that. So they are setting me up to go to a pain clinic to learn how to live with the pain management & get some Vocational Rehabilition.
Also Im going to try and get off the Pain meds,as they only mask the pain any way. Ive gained a some weight but I,started walking a little and eating low calorie diet and have droped a few pounds YEAH!!! lots of fruit and salads And water, one meal of meat aday about six ozs.

Im really going to lose this weight gained, As I have hope again as that few pounds gone renews the fire inside for fitness & Health. well take care every one and most of all THANKS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.JOHN
