Ok, I know I can eat more than I should. In the morning, it is hard for me to eat much. maybe 1 cup of food. Usually. But for dinner and supper I can eat atleast 2 cups of food. My doctor said he doesnt want to give me a fill cause he is afraid I will be too tight and have to start all over again. I have 9.5 cc in a 15 cc band. I am afraid to be too tight too. I do feel some restriction, but where do you draw the line? I dont want to start all over again. I need to lose about 15 pounds to be at goal. I have lost about 4 pounds since november. One of my closest friends wants to get the band, so she made an appt with my doctor for the middle of june. I said I would go with her so she can find the place. I will then ask him what to do. I like the restriction so I dont really over eat, but I am still able to go to a buffet and eat a plateful of food. And I dont drink with my meals. I do have to work on eating more protein. I guess I shouldnt complain. I have lost almost 100 pounds in a year. I was a size 28 jeans, and now I can squeeze into an 18. But comfortable in a 20. I was in a 3-4x shirt and now into 1-2x. I guess take what I can get. I am so much happier now. More energy, and play more with my girls.

Maybe you can make a deal with your doc. More fill with a promise from you to get an unfill if there is a problem? Why would you have to start all over again?

Fills aren't permanent. Easy in easy out. Try a smidge more, it too tight, back out to where you are and just give it time.

You know, you are doing fantastic !!! But I agree with kicking that band up a smidge. It doesn't sound to me like you have enough restriction. Congrats on all your victories, and much luck on knocking out those final 12 pounds !!!

I agree with everyone's comments -- AND I think you should work on getting more protein in -- are you eating protein FIRST? and then veggies? You have truly done an awesome job on losing 100 lbs in a year! Maybe a combination of a little more fill and more protein will do it for you....keep us posted! Can't wait to cheer when you reach goal!!! Congrats on your band success -- have you posted before/current pics yet? Would love to see the new you!

Thanks for all the comments. It has been a long time since I have chatted on here. I will ask my doctor when I go with my friend up to Sioux Falls, SD to her appointment if he tweak me just a bit. He is a great doctor. I feel so comfortable with him. He told me last time that he hated to get me too tight cause then he would take it all out if I got irritated and would have to start slowly again. But I think a little fill wouldnt hurt. I hope he could squeeze me in during her appointment. I think he will. I do try to eat my protein first and then the veggies. I have tried to post pics on here but cant get it to work. I am sure it is just me. If I send an email to someone, could they try to do it for me? When it comes down to downloading pics or copying and moving something around, I am lost. Thanks everyone!

I agree that a little fill would be good. A whole platefull of food seems like a lot to me. My docs want me to be able to eat no more than a cup of food as a bandster "serving". But all that being said, you've lost a lot of weight so I guess it depends on how quickly you want to lose the rest.

I vote for a slight fill also - and like it's been said - if it's too tight - they can remove some. Congrats on your weight loss so far - wooo hoo!!!

Ask him why he thinks you would have to start all over again. I've never heard of that unless there is a real problem, like erosion, slippage, pregnancy, etc. Most of us just have a slight unfill and all is well again.
Best of luck.

Wow!!! You have done great! If I was you I would get a small fill. The last few pounds are so hard to lose, at least for me. Donna
