Hi All, I saw my surgeon today whom I love dearly. I'm finally loosing weight on a consistent basis, about 1 lb per week. I know those plateau's are on the way though.

We were discussing my excercise. I mostly ride a stationary bike while I watch movies or HBO series. Usual ride time is 45 minutes. I also walk and do light weight training. He told me he wouldn't want me to do more as I will get hungrier as a result. I thought that was interesting.

I'll see him in a month and the next goal is 5lbs down. We scheduled a fill for July if I need it.

Sounds like a great plan. Steady and controlled weight loss in the easiest to achieve and the best to maintain. Keep up the good work.

Perhaps he is concerned that not only will you be hungrier - but then you'll exercise a lot which will cause you to "gain" muscle mass -- which we all know weighs more than our fat -- so.....maybe he is on to something here -- and he doesn't want you to feel defeated because you don't see the scale moving consistently -- keep up the awesome job with your exercise and listen to your doctor :)
