Dr. Ortiz in Mexico

I am looking in to having the lap band procedure done. I have been looking into Dr. Ortiz in Mexico. I have looked on here and read that many of you have gone to him and loved him, but are their any negative experiences out there with Dr. Ortiz? I am very nervous about this whole experience and want to be highly educated before making my decision.
I have tried all kinds of things to lose weight, but nothing has worked. I have had personal trainers, did all the diets, even have done the lipo disolve. I am at my wits end. I want to be in better shape so I can have better self esteem.

Dr. Ortiz and the entire OCC staff is wonderful... I have yet to hear about anyone having any negative experience with him during surgery or during the follow up care!

I went to Dr Ortiz and it was AWESOME!!! I love him and his whole staff!

I am scheduled to have surgery with him on May 21st... I have done a ton of research and can find no negative comments anywhere..

How in the world do you go to Mexico for the follow ups we have to have for most of our life as I understand it.........are Dr's. in US willing to take you on for aftercare? That scares me...but it IS cheaper!!!!!!!!!

I live in So Cal. So it would have been only a 2 hour drive down there.. No farther for me than driving to Los Angeles..

I didn't have my surgery in Mexico, but have considered going to fillcenter usa for my fills cuz they are cheaper than my MD I know some ppl here have used them rather than going back to Mexico.
