I am going to meet someone in BWI airport tomorrow at 6am and then driving back to NY.

I was thinking if we all used our heads we could work this out.

Someone tell me we can put this together so I can meet this person, crash in a hotel for a couple of hours and then meet you people for dinner before having to return to NY.

I know Paul and Jess are the masterminds in this area, so I am PMing both of them my contact info. I will be leaving NY somewhere around 11pm and driving down. Call me so we can work this all out.

OK so i've been in Maryland for about 2hrs...it's not very exciting as you can see by the picture of me below.

This is me closing in on 24hrs no sleep and 5hrs of driving.

Starbucks will not let you snort grind no matter how nice (or angry) you ask...Has anyone ever noticed how hard it is to get a large cup of black coffee in a Starbucks...we had a long debate about flavors, toppings etc.. I finally stated clearly "ME WANT LARGE BLACK COFFEE NOW"

totally missed this thread until now... how ironic!!!!

so glad that bear PMed me the info --- we connected this morning and worked out the details... met for happy hour... drinks... and talking... and then dinner... and then talking... and then we were kicked out... and then talking... and then checked out his fab ride... and then talking... hahahaha --- 7 hours later --- here i sit, as i feel for my poor, tired little friend bear, driving his way back to NY.

anyway ---- needless to say to all of you, who also love him so dearly, he was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love him that much more now that i've had the chance to meet him in real life!! :) we talk a mean talk --- terri, believe it or not he and i rival the length of some of our chats!!!!!!!!!!

haha --- so thanks, bear for PMing - bc i may not have known otherwise! now you have my cell, etc. so anytime you're in the area - give me a call... even if it is just to crash my pad to take a shower and snort my coffee! hehehe -- you're always welcome! mi casa, su casa, mi amigo! :)

i think the one on ralph's camera is better --- on mine, we couldn't tell if he was looking at the camera or not --- i think he was checking out some hottsie tottsie young thing walking by and then quick glanced at the shot just in time --- but on his it appeared he is definetely focused on the task at hand! hahaha

the part of baltimore we met in (canton square, for you local folks) is always hustle bustle drunken upper 20 through lower 30-something professionals cutting loose. it's a crazy cute little section of town!!!! we met at a mexican place called "nacho mamas" --- the decor is truly undescribable! you have to be there to understand... but they have quite an array of elvis paraphenalia, barbies hanging in a bird cage, and in ralph's estimation: smiling, winking, one-eyed donut holes wearing sombraos!!! (see????? you have to be there to understand! hahaha!) BUT ANYWHO........ we had a great time - glad to share it with you all! ;)

LOL...I just logged in so I could post about my Natty Boh shirt but you beat me to it. I pulled it on as soon as I got it out of the package...I would take pictures but it's like a porn shoot. Clearly I need to lose a few more pounds to be able to wear my winking donut in public...LOL.

I guess now I have to start working harder so I can come back in my Boh shirt and we can go out looking like bopsy twins in our matching outfits.

I can't explain how bad I want to be there, but to give you an idea of how close I am cutting things right now....here's my schedule.

I work m-f, (it's 2am here and I am just finishing my day to give you a sample of the length of my day) Friday after work I am packing for my flight, saturday at 6am I am going to be on a family fishing trip with my cousins and friends, it's a tradition that's been going for over 30yrs. I return home at about 3pm, finish packing, shower and get some sleep. I have to be at the airport at 3am for my flight to Reno. I'm there for the week and then Friday after the last day of training I am flying to AZ to see my parents who I haven't seen in a year.

As for the shirt, I seem to enjoy getting clothing as a gift that doesn't fit, it's like a challenge and a prize all wrapped up in one.
