Ok Northshore Massachusetts Bandsters

I live in a condo building accross from the northshore mall. we have a room there that has a table and chairs where we can have meetings once a week and it is FREE.

There must me some of you out there that need support.

Well, you are my first bandster that replied. I can't believe there arn't more people that are interested. They don't have to live in the northshore. Let's see what happens and how many we can get. In the meantime we can be buddies. If that is OK with you?

Hey girls, the NC bunch that is so active was not formed over night. They started with just a couple and now there 30 - 40 at support group meetings and events going on all of the time. Sooo, if it is just you two to start, you will be having company in the near future. Having the meeting room for support groups will be a draw. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you progress into a large support group. Contact your drs' offices to let them know that you are meeting.

Well, how can I form one when nobody else has replied to my message. I really would like to start one with more than two people. Where do you live? I have a room in my building that we can use and it also has a scale if people want to weigh themselves.

Where do you go now? Where is the one that has 30-40 people? I do really want to start one though.

Donna, we are in North Carolina, acutally in the Charlotte area. The first meetings were just a couple of ladies and it did take a few months to take off, but it has certainly taken off now.
Yes, it is just the two of you now. But, start having the meetings, each of you post a notice in your doctors office, and keep posting them on here. Remember the famous movie line "If you build it, they will come"? Well if it worked for us, you know that it could work for you, after all, you have even a larger population there than we do. Please, go for it, give it a few months and I am certain that you won't be sorry. This will lead to some great life time friendships.
