There are two that constantly go through my mind and both I learnt in here.

1, From Photonut - You are the driver of this bus not the passenger

2. From Jachuts signature - shut your gob and move your ass.

I repeat these when the chocolate craving fairy visits or I don't want to exercise. Would love to hear your inspiring sayings:)

The saying that seems to be rolling off my tounge lately is "....it is what it is and all I can do is keep moving forward."

Hmmm lately mine has been:

"Screw it - give me the chocolate chip cookie!"

Oh wait - that's probably not what you meant! You probably wanted inspirational sayings to help keep one on track! :)

Don't ever let your past dictate who you are BUT let it part of who you will BECOME

You CAN NOT control how you are perceived ONLY how you are PRESENTED

and of course, my favorite: "A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips"

My Mom always said this to us when we were dieting, hated it then but now I say it to my Daughters when they complain about their dieting

Its better to bear the pain than the shame of not being beautiful

You want fair? go do the pulyalip!!!

another weight watchers one... when it comes to sweets:

"the last bite tastes as good as the last... so why eat all the ones inbetween?"

From the music of Rent: Forget regret or life is yours to miss

This is my mantra in my signature.

Depending on the day... One day at a time (or hour or minute or bite!)

Doing a thing doesn't actually have anything to do with wanting to or not (the longer version of "Just Do It" I guess!)

It's not too late to stop yourself (use this one if I buy something I shouldn't eat and have it in the house or have started eating)

Never put off til tomorrow what needs to be done today (Wish I could live by this one more but one of the first words I learned was "PROCRASTINATE"!!)

I say many that have already been posted, but I definitely say (a lot)

Hurry up, and wait...

This too shall pass (personal favorite)

One day at a time...

I finally thought of something that I would be allowed to post on here...LOL

"Don't Should on yourself." and
"To thine own self be true!"

I use "This too shall pass" a lot too.

And my Mantra in my Signature....
"This does not define me....I am better than this....I am DiVine!!!"

Flylady says "You can do anything for fifteen minutes"
So I guess that extends to resisting anything for 15 minutes.

I like that one!! That is pretty much how my life is these days. 15 minute increments. I dont' have the energy or the stamina for much more than that!!

That made me think of another one....

"Don't give up 5 minutes before the miracle"
