Ok, I have decided to show my scars after 9 years so that you can see how they look down the road. there has been so much talk lately about breast reductions that I felt it only right to show mine.

This picture shows how the girls still face forward, even though i have lost a lot of volume. I know they will have to be reone at somepoint when i get to goal. I went down to a D after the surgery. I am now a DDD after having kids. I have "bologna nipples" which is a result of the doctor creating larger areolas. Previously they were very small, and odd looking for the size of breasts I had. I have scars around the areolas, a vertical scar running from the areolas down to the under crease of my breasts, and one along the crease of my breasts. The vertical scars and the scars around my areolas have basically dissapeared. the scars along the crease are very light, but you can still see them in the picture below.

If you cannot see these pictures I put them in the gallery under the plastic surgery section.

Those look great! I can't even tell that you had a breast reduction because they look very natural. I don't see any scars!!!!! Those areolas look like they were your originals. What a fabulous doctor you had!! Okay, I'm impressed. :)

That is fantastic!! I assumed you would always have scars.

My girls are going to get a lift and reduction as soon as I reach my goal or close enough to yank the skin up.

I know that it was the best decision I could have ever made. When I had it I had lots of back aches, and shoulder blade pain. I have not had it since.

I had breast reduction when I was 19, which was 20 years ago now. I couldn't even buy bras to fit me in a store back then, I had to go to Orlando to a special shop and have them made. I was thrilled when I came out of surgery and was a d cup. But, I lost all sensation in my nipples as a result and really miss that. I had pretty bad scarring because I keloid. The scars around my nipples are faded out pretty well, but the ones that run under my breast and along the sides are still very visible. I am definitely planning to have more work done on them once I get to goal. It has been long enough now since my last surgery, and, unfortunately I have also aged enough that now when I lie down, the girls fall down on either side of me and I hate that. I have often wondered, with all the new technologies and stuff, if when I have them done, any of my sensation could be restored. I doubt it, but a girl can hope, right?

Wow, you ladies are brutal on yourselves.

FD, you look fantastic, I am amazed at how little the scarring is for this surgery, which I thought I might also be going through at some point. The lollipop isn't visible, and without sounding overly male...They look GREAT!

bah. they aren't great, but they are better! I think that scarring really depends on the person. some people sacr darker, and some lighter. And if the scars raise then it can be tough to conceal.

I see bewbies!!! *points and snickers*

Seriously... I can't wait to give my girls a lift. They've been down for so long. I told Dawg I don't want nipples when I get mine done. He was a bit freaked out about it. *chuckles* I just hate my nipples standing out thru my clothes. I think it looks so tacky.

I wouldnt mind my nipples standing out quite so much if they both faced forward and even slightly upward. But they face different directions, one straight ahead and the other down and to the side, lol. NOT a good look.

But try finding good foam lined Tshirt bras in a 14E. Im-bloody-possible, in Australia at any rate. I may need to go hunting on the internet.

I'm amazed my boobs havent shrunk more. When I look down there's certainly a lot less projection there. But they remain stubbournly big, although I'm tall so I dont look like I have huge norgs. But I'd like a C cup. I really MAY consider a small reduction as I could play the back ache/shoulder pain/cant run card and get that covered by medicare and insurance.

I hear ya TrishS! I was a C cup in highschool but now a b! A fat girl with no boobs aint pretty! My plastic surgery lists include a tummy tuck and a boob job. The little I have isnt very flattering and I know after I drop my weight I will have fried eggs..blah!
