Well here I am. I am going to attempt to put pictures on this thread. I don't know how it will work but I am going to try.

The Picture of Me in Black was taken at a B2G Meeting at Red Robin in Charlotte, NC. I was at 317lbs. This was at the start of my journey February 3, 2007.

The picture of me in gray was taken this month at a B2G meeting at Dr. Voellinger's office. I am currently at 275lbs and from the way it looks I might have gain a pound form all of the good food that I was eating.

I basically started this thread for accountability to myself. To be honest with myself and you all I have not followed the band rules and I have tested the waters time after time. I know that I can do better but I haven't. I have not exercised and I make a bunch of excuses not to exercise. This has not been a easy road for me but I thank God that I have the band because I know that I have a chance to continue on my path to wellness. I have spent the last 10 years assisting the sick to wellness and still continue to not assist myself to wellness. Go figure!!! But I am not going to give up hope. Keep Hope alive!!!! Yeah!!!!!

I am glad that I have this site with other bandsters. I have read so many of your post and we all have our sights on wellness and being able to fit into that Little Black Dress!!! LOL!!! But all jokes aside. Thank you to all of you courageous people on B2G for being here.

I am moving forward in my weight loss journey with the help of God, my little family and the few friends that he has blessed me with.

This is my story
This is my prayer

I pray for myself to have a healthy weight loss with the help of this Weight Loss tool.
Give me the courage, strength and perseverance on this jouney to weight loss. Father I beleive that you will be here with me thought it all. I pray for all of those on Band2gether believers and non believers that they will achieve their goals of weight loss success. Thank you father in the name of Christ Jesus..Amen...

Hope , you took the first step to wellness when you decided to be banded. There will be struggles along the way and you will conquer them one by one. A life time of bad habits are not easy to break so you are going to break the bandster rules at some point (we all do.) You are doing well.

Thank you Maryann and Lauren for your encouragement and support.

My Goal is to lose 100 pounds by December 31, 2008 that is 8.3 lbs a month or 1.92lbs a week for 52 weeks.

I am thankful for this site. I read and remain encouraged even though sometimes it is rough. I wish you much success in the coming year. Love you guys and have happy holidays!!!!

Wow Hope, you can already see the changes in your face, God Loves Hope, and so do all of us!

It's a very difficult and slow journey made only easier for the lucky ones like you and I because we started out looking good and we only get better.

I will be joining you in the goal to lose 100lbs in 2008 which would bring me close to goal...Let's show these people just how hot we really are.

Thanks Bear, Donna, Maurine and Jessica for your support. Yes the neck and face is the first thing to go when I have lost weight in the past and the Hips and thighs are the last thing to go. I have went from a 26 to a 22 in pants and a 24 in a shirt to a 22 to or 20.

I believe that 2008 is going to bring some wonderful and great things for all of us.
My affirmation for 2008: I am declaring W-A-R! I am Willing, Able, and Ready to eliminate unconscious patterns that stand between me and my weight loss goals in 2008. I am now prepared to take this stand. My band will assist me in this process. I am so grateful for this opportunity.

I will post more before and current pictures soon I will have my DH to take some pictures of me by the new year.

Congratulations to you all!!!! You sexy, wonderful and supportive people on your journey to wellness. Peace!!! Happy New year.

Hope~

Thanks for your post! You have inspired me to move forward. I slowly lost 35 lbs. I've gained back 10. I have not worked the band the way I should, I've been depressed. I am making a conscious decision to lose weight, exercise, and become healthy.
Thanks again.

Well to day I went for my 6th adjustment. I went from 6.8cc to 7.0cc. Hopeful I will not need and adjustment for a while. I also joined the YMCA today and it felt wonderful to do so. I am going to start the water aerobics class and beginner step. So I am just going to commit myself to going 3 days a week to the Y for now. I would have pictures but I am trying to resize the ones that I have to put on this thread. Be Blessed!!!!

Hope, I am so glad to hear you joined the YMCA. I go four or five times a week and I love the way it makes me feel. It really helps with the weight loss too. Best of luck to you. Donna

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. It is wounderful to know that I have helped someone in some small way. We all have the power to make change. God gave us the power to choose and the strength to live in those choices. With a made up mind we can do anything. No good thing is beyond our reach if we believe.

Hope, I love the Prayer...AMEN! I'm going to put it on my bulletin board by my desk and pray it every morning. If anyone else decides to do that let me know. You know the Bible says..."When ever two or more of them ..."
