In preperation for the next support meeting thingamy in Idaho, I decided to clean out the closet and see just how much I could take in for the clothes swop that will happen.
Well in return, I got four chunk little NSVs:
1. I managed to clean out the closet without passing out from exhaustion 1/4 of the way through.
2. I found about ten shirts that are in pretty good shape and are hopelessly beyond my ability to wear.
3. I located about half a ton of clothing that was too shabby to pass on, and far to hopeless for me to wear.
4, My old boss who had a gastric bypass several years back gave me a ton of clothes from when he was downsizing. Part of that gift was a pair of black jeans that I had been hoping to downsize into on my last diet. Well there was no way they would go on, so I threw them into the closet in disgust.
I now haul them out and for grins try them on. Yes, you guessed it, they fell off.
Sadly I have about 8 pairs of superb dress pants that I never had the opportunity to wear and now, never will. Those are going to have to be dry cleaned and donated, but they won't make it to the meeting :(
Anyway, figured I'd share my chunky little victories.
