BBQ in Tampa!! October

I live by one of the most beautiful parks in Florida, right on Tampa Bay, and I would like to organize a BBQ for this fall while the weather is perfect!

If you live in Tampa, or Florida, or a state close, or a country away! Come and gather with me to share and celebrate the lap-band, and the journeys we have taken. I want to see lots and lots of people!! and there will be nothing but healthy eats, and a few healthy treats :) Even some soups and liquids for anyone too tight, or in the middle of a liquid or mushie diet. LOL

Let me know what weekend in october works for everyone! We will decide which is the best. I hope to see at least everyone who lives in Florida to be there, or totally be square!! hehehe

Like I said this morning - count us in! I can pretty much arrange our schedule around whatever day you pick, so I have no weekend preference. I bet if you keep this posted on the main board you will get some fly/drive ins wanting to come!! Perfect excuse to come to Florida.

HI to everyone from Florida...
I was banded on Sept 28 th by Dr Ortiz a in TJ , Mexico and would love to attend a Tampa BBQ . I live in Parrish( near Bradenton) but will be out of town for the next 2 weekends... except Sunday the 29th.. Anything going on in November?? I plan on going back to Dr Ortiz for my 1st fill on the 11/11 but aside from that my schedule is pretty free.
Would love to meet other people from this area. I only have 1 more week of liquids then on to solid foods... looking SO forward to that but with real apprehension.
Love reading this tread and getting a lot of questions answered.
