First Fill

Received my first fill today and boy was the process different than I had expected. First, it was difficult for the Dr. to find my port as I am such a big person (as I get smaller it wont be an issue) so that took a little work - more on his part than mine. Next, again due to my size hitting the port exactly was a little difficult - he had to "poke" me 4 times with the needle. However, I have my fill and he put 3.5 cc's in an AP Large band.

Ah Becca! I'm right there with you! My Dr. is Dr. Cahn, and I've been a hard fill from day one for him. I started out at 356 so I was extremely large. My first fill took probably 15 - 20 minutes! It's gotten a little easier as I've lost, but he still had trouble. I've got the distinction of being his hardest stick. Something to be proud of huh?? But it's been so worth it. I have the 10cc band and I now actually have 12ccs in it. But I have great restriction.

Yep I will be there with a smile on - not gonna wear bells as it would be tooooo noisy!!!
