Ok folks. Today I had to do the dreaded deed of renewing my driver's license. I was kind of enjoying carrying around the old one because of the reactions I got when people looked at it. And, it was the first time I weighed LESS than I had lied about! haha!
Anyway, here's my comparison. I thought you'd like seeing them. I could have gotten a 4-year or an 8-year. I chose the 4-year because I plan on seeing a plastic surgeon before 4 years is up. And that turtle neck will be HISTORY!

Neck or no neck, that is some transformation Susan. Just shows that with all the ups and downs along the way you have done a fabulous job!

Wow, what a change.
I recently had a comedy of errors surrounding my drivers licence, lol. I had to get a Working with Children Check done for several reasons to do with teaching primary school aged children, its standard. So in I go (ON the day it was due in at uni, no less) and provide the 3 forms of ID - drivers licence, birth certificate, and a credit card statement. I realised the week before that my drivers licence has had my maiden name on it for 17 years, I've renewed my licence twice and nobody has ever noticed, so I also took my marriage certificate.
Anyway, they also discover the WRONG birthdate on my birth certificate (again, nobody had ever noticed), a wrong spelling of my maiden name (which was Nash, and it said Wash) and they werent going to accept the credit card statement as it said Mrs J Hutchinson and not Jacqui Hutchinson!!!
But to top it all off, the woman in the post office REFUSED to believe that it was me on the drivers licence!
I got the darn check done in the end bu tthey were mighty suspicious - I'm pretty sure that had I been male there's no WAY I would have gotten that check through so that I could teach six year olds! It ended up costing me about $150 to update everything!

Oh, Susan, those pictures are wonderful. I do understand about the listed weight. The last time I re-uped my Washington license, I actually weighed what it said I did. Then, when I got the South Dakota license, I lied again to less that what I actually weighed (old habits, I guess) and now am about 5 lbs less than than. WOOT!!!

Susan, that's such a great photo comparison! Thank you so much for posting it for us. It gives me the idea to post one of my own...but, that will have to wait until tomorrow because my old driver's license is at home.
