How soon after surgery can I start going to the pool?
I have a lot of back and knee problems and would do better if I could "walk" in the pool. Any ideas how long I need to wait until I can get wet that long?

I think that would be for your Dr to determine. However, I do know that most doctors want the incisions to be completely closed prior to being in the water like that. Especially water that has other people in it. You dont want to risk any infections.

Check with your doctor.

My Surgeon said 4 weeks after surgery but you should check with yours.
Pool water is not necessarily the cleanest unfortuately.

I was scuba diving in Mexico 4 weeks after my surgery. It is almost time for you to get in the pool!
