i am wide open. and i mean W I D E open. the fill i got from Dr. Grossbar was nothing. I don't even feel like i am filled. so I have sent my info to r. Jessee's office and I am waiting to hear back from them to schedule my next appt. It has to be done under flouro. She does all first appts like that. It will be costly, but I can affor it, and I have to have it. I need tomake my lap-band work more for me.
Now I am not sure when i should get filled though. I have to wait till sometimes after the thursday after this one coming up. I could go that day, but the next morning i am flying to idaho. I should prolly wait till after i get back. maybe wednesday. then i have given my feet time to lose their swelling :D what do you think?

With the issues you've been having, i'd wait. Drink lots and lots of water at least 3 days before and don't eat several hours before your fill. I am having similar issues...just got unfilled a bit...it's alot harder to find the "sweet spot" than I thought it'd be.
I would wait too Funny. I had my first fill at 4weeks out and the first 2weeks after I could feel it but now I think that it is time for a fill.

My fill is scheduled for Oct 3rd. I still have no restriction, and look forward to the fill. hopefully it will give me some good restriction. I think by that point I will have waited a sufficient amount of time for the fill to kick in. so far nothing. I am happy to go back in and get an unfill if it is too much. The thing I like about Dr. Jessee is that they say if the fill is not correct, they will correct it free of charge.
I am so excited. My trip is so close, and that means my fill is close. yay! :D

Yes, Dr.Jessee is very accomodating with the fills. I came in yesterday and told her I need 2.5cc and she agreed and immediately filled me to that level. She is all about doing what the patient needs/wants. I have pretty much dictated what I want and when with my fills. I have only had to have an unfill one time, but it was a month and a half after my previous fill and not on a Monday (her only fill days) so I had to go the ER but she came in and unfilled me ASAP. I had to pay $75 for the ER visit with my insurance co-pay and that was it. How much do you have in your band now Amy? I went from 3.2 cc then nothing and now am back to 2.5cc. I am hoping this will be just right, though right now being on liquids still it is hard to tell.

I am in a hotel in Cinci right now. I drove up last night and stayed here to shop before my fill. I got my 3rd fill today. Dr. Curry put in .4 which puts me at 2. 65 in a 4cc's band and I have restriction. I already was pretty restricted in the mornings and I cancelled my appt. last week but they wanted to see me after a month so I went ahead and got it and glad I did. My gallbladder woke me up at 5:30 this morning and I thought I would die. Dr. Curry said as soon as I'm ready he'll take it out through my incisions I already have. I bet you'll really be able to tell after your next fill Amy. My second made all the difference and so has this third. I had lost 12 more pounds since I seen him a month ago so that's why he went down to .4 instead of .75 I was going to get. Good luck and let me know how your fill goes. Well, I'm going to go back out and shop now. I'm staying here one more night in case for some reason I am too tight and need a slight unfill. Oh, this time he hit it without fluro for the first time. Yehawwwwww.
