"Big Medicine" on Montel Williams

The popular TLC weight loss surgery show, "Big Medicine," will be featured on Friday's episode of Montel Williams. Doctors Robert & Garth Davis from Houston's Methodist Weight Management Center will talk about the various weight loss surgeries, including Lap Band. Wanda, Garth's 6th grade teacher, had Lap Band surgery this past summer and portions of the actual surgery will be aired on the show.

I look forward to watching it. I started watching the show when I first started looking into getting banded. I hope they start a new season soon, I've seen all of the first season. I look forward to hopefully seeing how the teacher with the band has done!

Thanks for sharing Tricia! I have watched Big Medicine pretty often -- my confirmation for getting my own band came as I watched the doctors' daughter/sister come in to get a slight unfill...I knew I wanted to be banded 100% at that point! It's awesome banded life is getting around...

darn - I just checked my local listing and high school football will be on instead in Chicago on UPN -- can someone tape it and link it to this thread? that would be awesome if possible - thanks!

I watched it... not too much on the lap band. More about bypass. It was pretty interesting though.
