SC looking to pay cash for band

Hi I'm new to this site.

I live in SC near Charlotte NC and not far from Columbia SC.

I have been over wieght for years.

I am looking for a Dr in the area who can help me.

My BMI is not high enough for my insurance to pay for it. So I either have to get FATTER, go figure, or I have to pay cash.

So I am looking at paying cash.

I need prices and names of Dr.s in the area that do the band.

I am not going to go to mexico because I can't fly, to afraid. I have equity in my home so I can get the cash.

Thanks for your help. Oh my mom lives in the Durham area so any Drs up there would work too. I haven't told her yet what I'm going to do so I can't exactly ask her to find out for me.

Check with Riverside Surgical-phone number- 791-2828. Drs. Strickland, Givens, and Antonetti. I chose Dr. Strickland to do mine. He is wonderful.
You will have to go to a seminar before meeting with a doctor. If you call the office, they will tell you when the next seminar will be. It is held at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia.

Don't know his pricing since insurance covered mine, but, I highly recomment Dr. David Voellinger. He did both my wife and myself (oh yeah, he has also done some other people, LOL) and he is hightly respected within the bariatric industry and is a teacher. His office is just outside downtown (excuse me, uptown) Charlotte.
