Mmmmm. I haven't had any yet, but just looking at the thread title made me start craving some. I have a craving for buffalo cheese. I'm not sure if that's the exact name of it, but I had some once in Seattle and I was hooked. Haven't been able to find any down here in Texas, though.

It still kills me that it seems like everyone but me can eat cheese. I cannot get it past my band and is a guaranteed pb every time. It doesn't matter what form the cheese comes in, cubed, melted, string, shredded, I can't eat it. Grrrrrrr :yell:

It's usually stored in water and oval or round in shape. It's definitely good stuff!

Oooooh. That's it! Those little pebbles of cheese are so delicious. The picture alone is almost hypnotizing:eek: . I'm definitely going to have to get me some now. Thanks for the info on it, Tricia K.

Mmmmm... Fontinella. If you can find it at a good Italian grocer... stinks like old feet, we call it feet cheese, but if you like sharp cheese... WOW.

Also, sharp provolone... not like the stuff at the supermarket... go to like Whole foods for it. Yummy!

I find that the sharper, dryer cheeses are more band friendly to me, than the softer ones.

I just bought a round brick of Colby yesterday and yuuuummmmmmy! I love it! My son and I snacked on it last night, then a tiny bit this morning too. It's a very good hard cheese.

I love smoked Gouda and Provolone, and of course any kind of mozzerella...Cheddar is also great, and any of the hard dry Italian cheeses.

Unfortunately its also one of the items on the no eating list because of the high fat content.

Hmmmm...I haven't tried the laughing cow cheese yet. Isn't it lower fat/calories? I love most cheese, too! My local Von's has a really good horseradish chedder. They slice it nice and thin for me so I don't eat too much at a time.

Nothing like bringing back an old thread, but I just found it!
I LOVE brie! Also, blue, feta, gouda, and baby swiss. A nice, soft baby swiss is amazing! So, are you supposed to eat cheese after surgery? I'm assuming yes because so many people seem to, but I would think it would be a nono because of fat content. Enlighten me! I LOVE CHEESE!

My opinion about cheese...
I am so Low Carb brainwashed that I do not worry about calories or fat. I know it probably should all be balanced and counted out, but I am TOO lazy for that.
I eat TONS of cheese. EVERYDAY. Cheese is a part of almost every meal for me. I would DIE if someone told me no cheese! :) Good Protein and calcium, right? :)

Mmmmmmm Cheeeeese. I could live on it alone. Baby Swiss, Colby Jack, Havarti, Munster, love it all....I have been getting those bags of "crumbles" recently to snack on, I think its a three or four cheese variety. Yummy!!!
