I have 2.8cc's in my 4cc band....I am not at my sweet spot yet...i can still eat way more than 1/2 of food...although i can eat that much i was have a constant problem with getting food stuck, which of course is my fault for not chewing or swallowing too fast...anyways question is this.....for the last 4 days i have not gotten anything stuck and it kinda freaks me out because it feels like i can eat anything right now. Is that a problem? Do I need a fill? Did my band slip? I am really nervous about this...i know i should be happy because i am not having golf balls but i was so use to it and now nothing. I am calling the doc tomorrow just in case i need a fill. My last fill was 3 weeks ago. Anyone else have this or has experienced this i would be soooooooo glad to hear from you..

I'm in the same pool as you.

I have 8.5cc in a 10cc VG band, no restriction and fighting to lose every ounce.

I haven't experienced this, but I do hope you find a resolution very soon.

If you are not getting food stuck with your current fill and are able to eat more than the normal bandster portion AND are not losing the 1-2 lb a week I would get a small fill. Just remember that adding saline will make it that much easier for things to get stuck so try to slow down and take smaller bites (**easier said than done I know :tongue1: ) I was at 2.7cc and was in a similar situation so I thought that I should add a bit more saline b/c I felt like I could eat too much. Well I got filled to 3.2 cc and was getting LOTS of food stuck and PBin'g way too much. I was scared I slipped my band. I went ahead and just waited it out thinking that I would loosen up when I lost weight but my band did the opposite-it just got tighter and tighter till I had to get an emergency unfill at the ER. Not fun and now I am completely unfilled and trying my best just not to gain. So when I get re-filled I am going to try my best to work my band with a smaller amt of saline. I always chewed too fast and took too big of bites so I thought that adding saline would help but in reality I just hadnt' learned the proper way to eat. I do hope that you reach your sweet spot soon~
