Today is my 1 year bandiversary!

Whew! It still seems like only yesterday that I had my lapband surgery. Who would have guessed that I would have lost 92 lbs. this year? Certainly not me! I may be at a bit of a plateau right now, but that's perfectly ok. Because, I have SO much to be grateful for...

- a great surgeon
- a wonderful and supportive husband
- a spunky and smart step-son
- amazing B2G friends (*HUGS*)
- an active lifestyle I never dreamed I'd achieve
The list could go on and on but I'll stop right there.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this 1st year.

Thank you to Susan and Dawg for starting this site. And thanks to Funny and Sara for helping get it off the ground. You're all amazing people and great friends.

And, a GREAT BIG THANKS to Telly for kicking my workouts into high gear and for being one of the best friends I could have ever asked for.

Top NSV's...hmm...I guess I'll just copy some of those that I posted in the NSV thread because they are the ones that I think of the most.

- crossing my legs - under the table at restaurants, in the car, EVERYWHERE!
- having to resize my rings (from size 7.5 to 6.5 but I'm going to have to do it again soon)
- wearing smaller shoes (not that my feet were big to begin with, mind you - they went from a size 7.5 to a size 6.5-7)
- having my husband's arms go around and around and around my waist
- not being out of breath after climbing stairs
- jogging - who woulda thunk it?
- my lower back not hurting as much

Congrats on your 1 yr bandaversary, today is my 6 month bandiversary and I haven't done half as well as you. I know being a low BMIer to start means slower results, but I feel it is no excuse on my part. You are truely an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Words could not express the love I have for you, someone I have never met in person. It's amazing how we can really build close friendships from the internet. I can't wait to meet you.

I need to tell you that you have done an amazing job and you are a model bandster. You have taught me alot of things and I hope to pass on the knowledge. You counter motivate me and when I am off track, you find a way to bring me back on. I'm grateful for the band because if not for it, I would have never met you, Amy, P'Nut and the list goes on.

I specifically remember when you first came to the other forum. I remember you posting your first pics and I noticed how beautiful your eyes are. From then on I followed your progress.
